Save Surface

To access this screen:

Import a block model. See Data Import Essentials.
Define an economic model. See Economic Model Essentials.
Optimization task bar >> Import Data >> Datamine Surface or Other Surface.
Select input data and click OK.
Confirm input attributes and click OK to display the Save Surface screen.

Surfaces are imported into your application one by one, but this may require surfaces to be grouped in a single file; for example, if the surfaces represent pushbacks to be used as an input to the Scheduler.

Important: If you import a sequence of surfaces to be saved in a single indicator file, you must import them in the correct order; for example, first 'Pushback 1' followed by 'Pushback 2' and so on.

Note: Importation is halted if the imported surfaces fall fully outside of the imported block model hull.

In As a new file called, enter a file name. This should follow your operating system file naming conventions, or select an existing indicator file in which to store the surface data, using Append to file.
